SAN FRANCISCO — The San Francisco State baseball team dropped the rubber game of its series with Cal State San Bernardino on Sunday in a 3-2 loss.
The Gators (8-23/5-16 CCAA) jumped out to the early 2-0 with runs in the first and second innings.
Sam Schmidt began the game with a double and later scored on
Jacob Lopez's single back up the middle.
Zac Neumann's RBI single in the second chased starter Don Sullivan.

Dillon Houser allowed just three hits on 57 pitches and gave up just one run, a solo homer in the fourth to Dillon Fahr, but settled for the no decision. The Coyotes scored twice in a two-out rally off of relived
Matthew Hernandez in the sixth.
The Gators got the go-ahead run to the plate in the next three innings but failed to score. SF State stranded 11 runners in the game.
