th in program history for stolen bases in a season. The Toros (9-16/7-13 CCAA) took a 1-0 lead in the bottom half on Rachael Sandoval's RBI single to right that plated Jazmin Guzman.
Madison Collins began the second reaching on a hit-by-pitch, and advanced to second on
Angelica Terrel's fielder's choice. Pinch runner
Jenee Wilson replaced Terrel, and
Megan Asher advanced both the runners on a sacrifice bunt. This brought up Castro, who singled to the right side and plated Wilson and Collins for the 2-1 lead.
That turned out to be the deciding score in the contest, with
Lindsey Cassidy going all seven with three strikeouts.

Savannah Ozuna, and
Delanie Chrisman followed with a walk that plated Castro. Higa knocked a sacrifice fly to left that scored Marilena Torres to make it 12-1.
