SAN RAMON, Calif. — San Francisco State women's soccer player Nicki Rucki has been named the CCAA Women's Soccer Player of the Week for September 17-23, the conference office announced on Tuesday.

The sophomore goalkeeper led the Golden Gators to wins over Holy Names and Cal State San Bernardino and a tie at Cal Poly Pomona as the team recorded three more shutouts to bring its season total to five. Rucki did not allow a goal in 271 minutes, made 15 saves including a penalty kick, and assisted on the game-winner in Friday's win at Cal State San Bernardino.
