SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — The San Francisco State wrestling team fell 29-15 to Division I opponent Cal Poly on Saturday afternoon at Richard O'Neill Green.
The Gators tied the match early thanks to 133-pound
Nathan Cervantez's pin in just 1:37 and again at 149 pounds when
Mason Boutain scored a 6-4 overtime decision.
Maxamillian Schneider gave the Gators a 12-9 lead with a 14-9 decision over Brawley Lamer at 157 pounds but the Mustangs rallied back and took four of the final five bouts, two by fall and one by technicall fall. SF State scored a win at 184 pounds tahnks to No. 4
Justin Pichedwatana, who earned a 5-2 decision.
