- Stanislaus State took a 2-0 lead in the fourth on Morgan Leonard's RBI double.
- In the sixth, the Warriors added on with a Joerdan Lovell infield single.
- In the bottom of the sixth, Michelle Castro drew a full-count walk and Tianna Jacques sent the first pitch she saw for an RBI double. Jacques was thrown out at third later in the inning but Nina Revoir stole second to get into scoring position, and Katie Rohrer singled her home to pull SF State within a run.
- After a pair of strikeouts, the Gators were down to their final out in the bottom of the seventh but Lehua DeLeon single, Brylynn Vallejos walked, and Castro doubled home DeLeon to knot the game at 3-3.
- Jacques struck out to end the seventh but delivered in the ninth. With DeLeon and Vallejos aboard, Jacques doubled an 0-2 pitch to right center and DeLeon scored easily from second to walk it off.
