Daesha Harper has been named to the 2021 Division II Academic All-District® Women's Soccer First Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (
CoSIDA).
The 2021 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the pitch and in the classroom.
A senior from Elk Grove, Harper has a 3.75 GPA and is working towards a degree in Marketing. She started in 18 matches and appeared in all 19 matches for the Gators. Harper netted a game-winning goal versus Cal Poly Pomona and added an assist in the same match. In 2019, she garnered All-CCAA Honorable Mention.
First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
The CoSIDA Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the links above, and are divided into geographic districts across the United States and Canada.
The Division II CoSIDA Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2021-22 Division II Academic All-America® program.
