MXC | Gators Race At Nationals Preview Meet

| By:
SEATTLE - The San Francisco State men's cross country team raced at Chambers Creek Regional Park in Seattle, site of the National Championship in December. Almost 30 Division II schools participated, making this meet one of the most competitive meets the Gators have raced in this season. The Gators also raced against five of the schools from the CCAA, providing them with an excellent tune up before conference championships.

The Gators finished in 15th with 454 points, beating out Cal State East Bay and finishing 17 points behind Humboldt. Colorado School of the Mines won the meet while Chico State came in second to lead the CCAA.

For the first time this season, Bailey Williams crossed the finish line first for the Gators and finished 81st with a time of 25:28.70. Evan Jackson slipped into the top 100 and placed 99th with a time of 25:45.70.
