SAN FRANCISCO — San Francisco State men's soccer players
Andres Alfaro and
Justin Wolfe have been named to the 2022 Division II Academic All-District® Men's Soccer Team, as selected by
College Sports Communicators.
The 2022 Academic All-District® Men's Soccer Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA — for each gender.
A senior midfielder from Martinez, Alfaro appeared in 12 contests with two starts. The Kinesiology major boasts a 3.85 GPA.
Wolfe, a senior defender, appeared in all 17 contests with four starts for the Gators. The Concord native has a A 3.73 GPA.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
The Division II CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Division II Academic All-America® program.
