MXC | Gators Compete at CCAA Championship

CARMEL, Calif. – The San Francisco State men's cross country team competed at the CCAA Championships, hosted by Cal State Monterey Bay. The Gators previously raced at the Palo Corona Regional Park in September to open the season.

Evan Jackson was the top Gator finisher and cross the finish line in 25th with a time of 25:52.7. He shaved off 14 seconds from his time at the course in September. Jackson also jumped nine spots from where he finished at CCAAs a season ago. Ben Heager and Joshua Abrenica finished back-to-back and placed 32nd and 33rd respectively.
 

SF State finished in seventh with 161 points, only 11 points behind East Bay and 16 behind Humboldt. Chico State won for the 20th time in a row.
