AZUSA, Calif. – The San Francisco State women's track and field team made its furthest trip of the outdoor season and traveled to Azusa Pacific for the Franson Classic.
Jayda Rustemoglu put together two top eight finishes on the weekend. She took fifth in the 200 meter with a time of 25.09 and eighth in the 100 meter with a time of 12.27.
Dezirae Smith led the Gators in the triple jump with a fifth place finish. She also had the highest Gator finish in the long jump with an eleventh place finish and season best mark of 5.31 meter.
Amy Christensen's mark of 3.35m in the pole vault puts her in a tie for second best mark in school history.
