SAN FRANCISCO – The San Francisco State men's track and field team raced in the Mike Fanelli Classic at Cox Stadium. The event featured athletes from around the country as over 60 universities had athletes competing over the course of three days.
On Thursday, the Gators competed in the 10000 Meter and 300 Meter Steeplechase.
Bailey Williams had a strong finish in the 10000 meter to place fourth in his heat and 23rd over all.
Finn Tyvoll improved on his previous performance from a week ago in the steeplchase by four seconds.
Friday featured the 1500 and 5000 Meter.
Jose Torres put together the fastest performance of a Gator in the 1500 meter this season by close to two and a half seconds.
Payton Spurlock had the highest finish of the Gators all weekend and took second in the two mile with a time of 10:14.68.
