WTRK | Gators Keep Up Positive Momentum in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.  – The San Francisco State women's track team competed at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational, hosted by the University of New Mexico. The meet featured athletes from some of the top Division I schools in the country.

Essence Jackson had a season best mark in the long jump at 5.07m. She also placed 13th in the triple jump with a mark of 10.89m. Mattie Cecilio had a top ten finish for the Gators in the Triple Jump with a mark of 11.42m.

Lamiah George had a strong meet for the sprinters. She took second in her 60m heat with a time of 7.88, 10th fastest in school history. She also won her 300m heat.
