SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco State wrestling team will send a pair of Student-Athletes to the 2023 Under-23 World Championships. The event, taking place from October 23-29, will be held in Tirana, Albania. 

Graduate Student Tony Margiotta with represent the Philippines while junior Jairo Rivera Vazquez will represent Puerto Rico. The two competed at the U23 World Championships last season as well. In addition, assistant coach Anthony Mancini will be coaching the pair at Worlds.

Margiotta will wrestle in the 61kg category and Rivera Vazquez will compete in the 92kg category. Both athletes will begin competition on October 23. Fans can follow along through Flowrestling.com or by clicking here.
