BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The San Francisco State wrestling team sent a small squad of seven wrestlers to the Roadrunner Open on Sunday.
Hayden Ancheta and
Josiah Hurd both placed for the Gators with sixth-place finishes.
Ancheta wrestled at 125 pounds scored a tech fall in three minutes flat and scored a pair of pins. Hurd wrestled at 174 lb. and also had a pair of pins on the day and did so in 7:46, which ranked him 12th best on the day.
