MANHEIM, Pa. — San Francisco State wrestler
Lawrence Saenz is ranked No. 10 at 149 lb. in the latest National Wrestling Coaches Association NCAA Division II Men's Coaches Rankings.
Saenz, who has also been ranked No. 7 in the nation at 149 lb. by
theopenmat.com, is currently 2-1 on the season. He opened the season with a 10-5 victory over then-No. 12 John Burger of Nebraska Kearney. On the Gators' trip to Colorado, Saenz fell by major decision to then-No. 22 Western Colorado's Dean Noble but bounced back with a narrow 5-4 victory over Colorado Mesa's Juan Garcia.
The next NWCA ranking will be released December 22.
