Andre Dargani earned a 1-0 decision over Nick Camacho.
ATHERTON, Calif. — The San Francisco State wrestling team dropped its final regular season dual of the season, 32-7, to Menlo on Friday night at Haynes-Prim Pavilion.
The Gators went down 8-0 but battled back to 8-7 with wins from
Andre Dargani and
Joshua Fuentes Norikiyo. Dargani earned a 1-0 win at 141 lb. thanks to a second-period escape. Fuentes Norikiyo won his 149 lb. bout 10-0 and finishes the regular season with a 10-3 record in dual competition. However, that's the last win the Gators would record as Menlo cruised to victory on its Senior Night.
SF State now has some time off before heading out to the NCAA Division II Super Regionals on Saturday, February 25 hosted by Chadron State at the Chicoine Center.
