SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — The San Francisco State baseball team fell 10-8 in extra innings to #4 Cal State San Bernardino at Fiscalini Field to close out the series. The Gators came back to take a 8-7 lead in the eighth, but a solo homer in the ninth by the Yotes extended the game and a two-run shot in the tenth gave them the win.
- The Gators fall to 11-8 and 4-7 in the CCAA. The Yotes improve to19-4 and 10-3 in the CCAA.
- SF State nearly matched San Bernardino in hits 14 to 15. The Yotes did most of their damage in the long ball game, scoring five of their runs off four homers.
- AJ Schrader hit his third homer of the series and fourth of the season.
- Both Schrader and Daniel Santos had two RBIs to lead the team while Nick Upstill had a team high three hits on the day.
The Yotes scratched four runs through the first two innings. The Gators cut into the lead in the top of the third with a pair of runs.
Kody Gardner reached first safely with two outs after the first basemen bobbled the ball, allowing
Sammy Gonzales to come home safely. Cunningham hit an RBI single in the next at bat to make it a 4-2 game.

The Gators drew three free bases thanks to a walk and pair of hit by pitches to load the bases in the sixth. Santos swung at a full count and dropped the ball into left center for a two-run RBI single.
Schrader hit his third solo homer of the series to make it a 6-5 game.
Down 7-5 in the eighth, the Gators took their first lead of the game. A sac fly by
Matt Sugden brought the Gators within one, an overthrown pick off attempt allowed
Cole Thompson to record the tying run and another Sac fly gave the Gators the lead.
A solo homer tied it in the ninth to force extra innings. The Yotes hit a two-out homer to plate two runs in the tenth and end the game.
- Nathan Shinn lasted three innings with a no decision, giving up nine hits and six runs. He also had three strikeouts.
- Mickey Radonovich stepped up in relief, going a career high six innings. He gave up six hits, two runs and a walk while tossing two strikeouts.
- Justice Naraghi was charged with the loss.
- Oscar Rauda earned the win in relief for the Yotes.
