HAYWARD, Calif.  – The San Francisco State men's track & field team opened up the outdoor season this past weekend, competing at the West Coast Twilight Invitational hosted by Chabot College. The meet marked the first track meet for several members of the 2023 team.

Kyle Botelho made his track debut and won the 200m with a time of 25.43. Evan Jackson led a big pack of Gators in the 3000m and crossed the finish line in seventh with a time of 8:38.99.
