WTRK | Gators Have Three Provisional Marks In Busy Weekend

| By:
SAN FRANCISCO – The San Francisco Women's track & field team had its busiest weekend to date. Several athletes competed at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate hosted by Long Beach State on April 13. They stayed down in Southern California to take part in the Bryan Clay Invitational, hosted by Azusa Pacific from April 13-15. The rest of the team competed at the Johnny Mathis Invitational at home.

The week started with a bang with Amy Christensen setting a new personal best mark and a provisional mark in the pole vault at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate. Already the school record holder in the pole vault, Christensen cleared 3.76m. Macaria Moore-Bastide, who had already jumped a provisional mark earlier in the season, recorded an outdoor personal best with a 1.71m jump. Mattie Cecilio recorded the Gator's third provisional mark of the weekend, jumping a personal best of 12.16m in the triple jump. All three Gators have the top marks in the conference.

At home, Anika Pettinger was the highlight for the Gators, running a top ten time in the 3000m steeplechase the first time she ever raced in the event.
