SAN FRANCISCO – The San Francisco State women's track & field team competed in the Mike Fanelli Track Classic at Cox Stadium. The meet is the largest the Gators will compete in all year and one of the largest in the country, featuring athletes from all across the country. The meet is named after SF State great Mike Fanelli, who holds the record for the 10000 meter and is third all-time in the 5000 meter.

Mattie Cecilio represented the Gators at the prestigious Stanford Invitational.
Christensen was the highlight for the Gators at the Stanford Invitational. She broke the school outdoor record in the Pole Vault with a mark of 3.62m and placed fourth in the event. She currently has the top mark in the CCAA this season.
Cecilio improved upon her season best mark in the triple jump and finished with a conference leading mark of 11.92m, just .04 off from a provisional mark.
The members of the 4x400 relay team put on a show, finishing with a season best time of 3:59.28 to place second. The team of

The Gators' have another busy week ahead. The multi athletes will compete in their first multi event of the season at the Stanislaus Multi event from April 6-7. The rest of the team will travel to Berkeley for the Brutus Hamilton Invitational on April 8.
