SAN FRANCISCO – The San Francisco State men's track & field team competed in its final meet before conference, the Mustang Invitational hosted by Cal Poly Slo.
The majority of the team raced in the 800 and 1500m events.
Evan Jackson paced the Gators in both events, posting another under two minute time in the 800 meter at 1:58.28.
Jose Torres raced in the 3000 meter steeplechase for the first time this season, finishing with a time of 10:33.14, 13th best in the conference this season.
Aidan Murtagh raced a personal best time in the 5000m of 16:26.46, shaving off over 12 seconds from his previous best time.
