Game 1
- After the Gators went down in order in the top of the fourth, the Otters got all they needed in the bottom half of the frame. Abby Alcayaga led off with a double, then scored two batters later on Ganaden's single up the middle. Ganaden moved all the way to third on a throwing error and scored on Ellie Escalante's pinch hit single back up the middle.
- Brooklyn Heffernan (6-8) threw a complete game for the Gators but allowed both runs, one earned, on six hits. She did not walk a batter and struck out three.
- Cassie Gasper (13-6) struck out four and allowed just two hits in a complete-game victory for the Otters.
Game 2
- The Gators got a late lead in the sixth and held on. Kai DeLeon and Marley Gonzales both reached on errors and moved up to second and third base thanks to Teya Vincent's sacrifice bunt. Nilson hit a two-out chopper to second but beat the throw to first, which allowed DeLeon and Gonzales to score.
- Kaitlyn Maddux (9-5) scattered three hits in a complete-game shutout, her team-leading tenth of the season. She needed just 85 pitches and faced four over the minimum. She also struck out a pair.
- Kassidy Stetler (8-10) was just as good in a two-hit complete-game effort for the Otters. She faced six over the minimum and struck out 10. However, Stetler was charged with both runs, which were unearned.
The Gators and Otters meet again on Saturday, April 8 for an 11 a.m. doubleheader. The games will be broadcast on the
