AZUSA, Calif. - The San Francisco State women's track & field team sent a couple of athletes to the Azusa Pacific University last chance meet to give them one last chance to hit marks high enough to qualify for NCAA Championships, taking place in Pueblo, Colorado from May 25-27.

Mattie Cecilio recorded a new personal record in the triple jump with a jump of 12.27m to place second at the meet. Fresh off a second place finish at the CCAA Championships, Cecilio improved on her previous best jump by .11m and is tied for the 19th best mark in the country. She jumped over 12ms on four of her six jumps and hit 12.27 on her final attempt.

Amy Christensen cleared 3.61m in the pole vault to place fourth at the meet. She set a new personal record of 3.89m a weekend ago to win the pole vault at CCAA Championships. She has the 25th best mark in the country.

The selections for the 2023 NCAA Division II Track and Field Championships will be announced Tuesday HERE.
