The 2023 Academic All-District® Softball Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. DeLeon continues to rack up the honors after being named to the D2CCA All-West Region Team, the NFCA All-West Region team, and to the CCAA Second Team for a second year. The sophomore second baseman appeared in 47 games, all starts, out of a possible 50 games. DeLeon's .341 batting average was 12th best in the conference, her 30 runs scored were tied for fifth most, and her 46 hits were tied for 13th. All three of those stats led the Gators in 2023. The Psychology major also posted a .964 fielding percentage and had a hand in turning 15 double plays.

Guerrera earned CCAA Honorable Mention for her 2023 campaign. The right fielder started 48 games and hit .320/.405/.547. She smashed a team-high seven home runs, which was tied for fifth in the CCAA, and was tied for the team lead with 22 RBIs, good for 16th in the CCAA. The sophomore Bis studying Business Finance and posted a .932 fielding percentage.

Maddux was a workhorse in the circle for the Gators. The pitcher led the team with 149 and two thirds innings pitched with a 2.24 ERA. She posted a 13-10 record and tossed 17 complete games in 25 starts. The Liberal Studies major struck out 78 and allowed just one home run on the season.

Nilson started all 50 games for SF State. She scored 12 runs and drove in 14. The left fielder posted a .929 fielding percentage. Nilson is studying Kinesiology.

The Gators' lone senior, Vincent started all 50 games and hit .246 with five home runs, second most on the team. Her 22 RBIs were tied for the team lead. She will walk on May 26 with her degree in Kinesiology.

San Francisco State finished the season at 27-23, with the 27 wins the eighth most in program history. The Gators finished the season ranked ninth in the West Region and were ranked as high as seventh.
