ALBUQUERQUE - The San Francisco State women's track and field team headed east to compete in the New Mexico Team Open.
Mattie Cecilio improved upon her NCAA provisional mark in the triple jump and recorded a 12.08m jump for seventh place. Her mark currently sits in 10th in the NCAA.
Freshman
Alexis Wachowski also set a new person best in the pole vault, clearing 3.10m.
Zharia Dixon led the Gator sprinters in the 60m, crossing the finish line in 7.78 seconds, just .07 seconds off her personal best time set at the previous meet. The Gator distance runners saw action for the first time in the indoor season.
Anika Pettinger led the group in the mile, clocking in at 5:27.18.
