STATEN ISLAND, New York - The San Francisco State women's track and field team raced in their final indoor meet as a team on Friday, February 23 at the Fasttrack Last Chance Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
Anika Pettinger was the highlight of the weekend, breaking the school record for the mile with a time of 5:13.48, nearly nine seconds faster than the previous record. She also ran in the 3000m, placing second with a time of 10:30.27.
Mattie Cecilio set a new season best in the triple jump, jumping 12.14 to place second. Also placing in the top three was
Macaria Moore-Bastide in the high jump (first, 1.70m) and
Amy Christensen (Second, 3.65m).
