LOS ANGELES - The San Francisco State men's track and field team ran in the Occidental Distance Carnival on Saturday. The event featured over 100 runners in the 1500m and over 200 in the 5000m
Remi Oms shaved time off his 1500m and ran it in 4:00.29.
Tyler Sharp ran the fastest time of a Gator this season in the 800m, clocking in at 2:02.27.
Jose Torres ran his first 3000m steeplechase of the season, crossing the line at 10:07.14, just five seconds off his personal best time.
Joey Manahan led the way in the 5000m with a personal best time of 15:41.96.
