HAYWARD, Calif. - The San Francisco State men's track and field team braved some unfavorable weather conditions and ran at the West Coast Opener, hosted by Chabot College.
Remi Oms led a pack of Gators in the 1500m, finishing with the fastest time by a Gator so far this season at 4:02.59 to place sixth.
Jose Melchor shaved off over 16 seconds from his previous time in the 3000m two weeks ago to cross the line in 8:52.79 and place 11th.
