SAN FRANCISCO - After scoring a career-high 42-points, San Francisco State women's basketball player
Alexsandra Alvarado was named the CCAA Player of the Week. The recognition is the first in her career, making her the first Gator to earn Conference Weekly honors since the 2018-19 season.
Alvarado's 42 points in a tough overtime loss to Cal State East Bay was eight shy of tying the conference record. She also added six assists, four rebounds, two steals and a block.
With the regular season finished, Alvarado sits in third in points per game (16.5 ppg), ninth in assists (three) and 10th in steals (1.9) in the CCAA.
