Macaria Moore-Bastide of the women's track & field team was named the CCAA Field Athlete of the week.
Moore-Bastide, a sophomore from San Diego, made the best out of her return to Southern California, winning the high jump at both the Mangrum Invitational and Point Loma Invitational. Her best jump came in San Marcos at the Mangrum Invite as she cleared a new personal best 5-9.25 (1.76m) to earn the top mark in the CCAA this season and the second-best mark in NCAA Division II in 2024.

This is her first CCAA Women's Field Athlete of the Week award of the season and third of her career. It also marks the first for the Gators since she earned the award last season for the week of April 10-16.0
The Gators will remain home this weekend as they play host to the Mike Fanelli Track Classic with select athletes heading to the Stanford Invitational as well.
