HAYWARD, Calif. - The San Francisco State men's track and field team ran at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic held at Chabot College. The event featured athletes from around the country at all levels of competition. The Gators braved unfavorable elements on day one as rain picked up during the distance races.
All three runners in the 800m ran personal best times and
Remi Oms (2:00.47) and
Tyler Sharp (2:00.88) were less than a second from finishing in under two minutes.
Jose Melchor ran a personal best time of 32:22.21 in the 10,000m and the best time of a Gator this season.
