SAN FRANCISCO - A pair of Gators on the San Francisco State women's basketball team were named to the All-CCAA team as announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon.
Alexsandra Alvarado was named All-CCAA Second Team while
Sage Bridges-Bey earned Honorable Mention.
Alvarado finished the season ranking third in the conference in points per game (16.5), sixth in free throw percentage (.798) ninth in assists (3.0) and tenth in steals (1.9). In the final game of the season, Alvarado scored a career-high 42 points, earning herself CCAA Player of the Week honors in the process. Alvarado etched her name in the SF State record books for the season and finished it tied for third in free throws made (146) and tied for fourth in points scored (446).
Bridges-Bey was second on the team in scoring, averaging 12.1 ppg. She averaged 1.8 three-pointers a game, ninth in the CCAA. She led the team with 125 rebounds and posted two double-doubles on the season.
