SAN FRANCISCO - The honors keep rolling in for San Francisco State baseball's Justin Johnson as Johnson was named to the D2CCA All-West Region First Team. Johnson is the first Gators to earn D2CCA West Region honors since the 2018 season.

Johnson was named to the CCAA Second Team and earned NCBWA West Region Honorable Mention honors. He wrapped up the season slashing .374/.429/.660. In one of the best individual seasons in program history, Johnson broke the single season RBI record in the final game of the season with his 72nd.

The team leader in hits with 88, Johnson was one shy of tying the single season record. He also recorded 20 doubles, 15 home runs and one triple. His team leading 55 runs ranked among the most in the conference.

Johnson earned CCAA and NCBWA West Region Player of the Week for the final week of the season when he hit four homeruns in a single game.

The Gators recently wrapped up their season at West Regionals with a record of 34-26. SF State made its first appearance at regionals since the 1995 season.
