NEW ORLEANS – All Region honors for the 2024 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field season were announced on Friday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following the conclusion of the regular season. Macaria Moore-Bastide, Amy Christensen and Mattie Cecilio all earned All-West Region. All three athletes also earned All-West Region honors during the Indoor season as well.
Top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team.
Only USTFCCCA member programs are eligible for awards.
Moore-Bastide jumped a personal best mark of 1.76 on March 22 at the Mangrum Invitational. Her mark is fifth best in the NCAA. Moore-Bastide will compete at Nationals in Emporia, Kansas for a chance to earn All-American status in outdoor track & field.
Cecilio jumped 12.20m at the Aggie Open on March 9, just .03m off from her personal best jump. She placed fourth at CCAA Championships in the triple jump.
Christensen cleared 3.86m at CCAA Championships en route to a second place finish and to earn All-CCAA honors for the second straight year.
