SAN FRANCISCO — Justin Johnson of the San Francisco State baseball team continues to earn accolades for his weekend against Cal State Dominguez Hills and was named the NCBWA West Region Player of the Week.

Johnson homered four times in the second game of the series against Cal State Dominguez Hills to celebrate the Gators' clinching of a CCAA postseason berth the night before. In the legendary game, the senior from Sacramento went 5-for-6, with four home runs, eight RBI, and five runs scored. Over the four-game series, in which the Gators won 3-1, Johnson hit .611 (10-for-18) with two doubles, a triple, four home runs, 11 RBI, and 10 runs scored. He finished with a .667 on-base percentage and a 2.167 OPS. He had hits and RBI in all four games while also helping turn five double plays.
