SAN FRANCISCO - Daniel Santos of the San Francisco State Baseball team was named to the ABCA NCAA Division II West Region All-Defensive Team. The teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Div. II All-America & Coach of the Year Committee.

Santos was the team's everyday right fielder, starting a school record 60 games and was an instrumental part of the Gators' postseason run. The rising senior from Hacienda Heights had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, finishing the 2024 season with 139 put-outs and an outfield assist. The award marks the first regional honor in Santos' career. Santos is the second Gator to be named to the ABCA NCAA Division II Regional Defensive team with Pat Haugen earning it in the 2010 season.
