CERES, Calif. - The San Francisco State men's cross country team opened up the season at the Kim Duyst Invitational, hosted by Stanislaus State. The Gators raced the event for the first time since the 2017 season. Starting at 8:45 p.m, the event marks the latest start for a cross country meet this season.
SF State finished fourth out of six teams with 7th ranked Chico State winning the meet.
Jesus Aguilar, who ran his first cross country meet as a Gator, led the pack with a 28th place finish and time of 25:23.3.
Dominic Clima placed 50th and was the second Gator point scorer of the meet.
