CHICO, Calif. - The San Francisco State women's cross country team ran at the CCAA Championships, hosted by Chico State. The Gators placed ninth with 229 points, just four points shy of the next team at eighth place.

Raven Nieto lead the Gators for a second straight meet and finished in 42nd place with a time of 23:34.4. Priscilla Navarro moved her way up in the pack after the first mile to finish 50th with a time of 23:46.4.
Julia Pioroda finished right outside the top 50 at 54th with a time of 23:55.6.

Chico State took home the crown for a third straight season.
