LA's Kristin Mijares scored in the 11th minute with a shot from the corner of box to the far post. Syra Valdez doubled-up the score in the 71st minute with a goal.
Kylie Tone (1-4-3) made 10Â saves in the loss, her second double-digit save effort of the season.
