SAN FRANCISCO  - San Francisco State women's soccer hosted Cal State East Bay on October 31 and fell 5-0

  • SF State falls to 1-12-3 on the season and 1-6-1 in the CCAA. Cal State East Bay improves to 6-8-1 and 4-4-1 in the CCAA.
  • The Gators had nine shots with seven of them on goal. Emily Gehrlein-AllenKiralyn Kuramoto and Malia Wagatsuma each had two shots on goal.
  • Corner kicks were limited on both sides with East Bay taking three and the Gators one.
  • East Bay's Mika Sayfurahman had a hat trick.

How It Happened


Morgan Petereson's pass bounced off the goal post in front of Mika Sayfurahman in the 32nd minute and Sayfurahman was able to capitalize on the ball placement with a goal. Peterson scored in the 43rd minute off a fast break. The Pioneers added three more goals in the second half, making a comeback difficult for the Gators.

Kylie Tone (1-6-3) made six saves for the Gators. Kiernen Crabtree played the final 11 minutes, not recording a save.
