BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The San Francisco State wrestling team took a couple of wrestlers to the Roadrunner open, hosted by Cal State Bakersfield.

Hayden Ancheta was the highlight of the weekend and finished fifth at 125lbs. He posted a 4-2 record on the weekend and took down several Division I wrestlers in the process. Khaisen Chen dropped his first match at 141lbs but bounced back in the next match for a 6-3 decision over Kasey Curtis (Unattached - Utah Valley). Chen recorded his first pin of the season against Landen Prather (Hope International). Tristan Fernandez also picked up a win after dropping the first match, pinning Parker Buhr (Embry-Riddle) in 1:04.
