SAN FRANCISCO - San Francisco State's Kyle Botelho was named the MPSF Wrestler of the Week on December 9. Botelho earns his first MPSF honor and first for the Gators this season.

Botelho went 4-0 across four duals, as the Gators earned teams wins over the host NAIA No. RV Simpson and NAIA No. 17 Corban (Dec. 4). He pinned Corban's Gus Menne in 2:46 and CSU Peublo's Deacon Pickett in 1:30. Botelho also picked up a 26-14 Major Decision against No. 11 NAIA wrestler William Schwertscharf of Simpson and a 7-4 decision against Cole Zoller of Southern Oregon.

The team will have a break before they compete in the final tournament of 2025. They will wrestle at the Reno Tournament of Champions on December 21. Live stats will be available on TrackWrestling.com.
