- Kaila Eastburn (1-1), who was named to the RMAC Preseason Watch List, tossed six innings. She gave up three runs on six hits over six innings of work. She struck out six and walked two.
Game Two
- The Gators struck first. With runners on second and third with one out, Isabel Tellez chopped a ball to first. Shelli Faulk shoveled the ball home but Kira Nilson avoided the tag.
- SF State opened things up in the fifth.
