SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco State women's basketball team went to the wire in their final game of the season against Cal State LA but fell 60-59.
Prior to the start of the game, the Gators honored Kali Myers, Imani Felix, Ana Daniels, Sage Bridges-Bey and Seilala Lautaimi.

- The Gators drop to 9-18, 7-15Â in CCAA play to finish eighth in the CCAA. The Golden Eagles improve to 18-9Â and 13-9Â in the CCAA.
- Alexsandra Alvarado led all players with 25 points. Her 16.6 ppg ranks third in the conference. She also added a steal to give her 76 on the season, second most in the conference.
- Geriah Bradley dished out six assists. She has 78 on the season and her average of 3.0 per game is tenth best in the conference.
- Cal State LA held a 41 to 29 rebound advantage over the Gators.
- Nevaeh Asasi led LA with 21 points.
A hot shooting Golden Eagles team led 15-3 through the first five minutes of action. The Gators fought their way back and went on a 10-3 run over the course of the final 4:13 minutes. Bradley scored eight of those points and had the assist on another basket. Down 20-16 to start the second, neither team scored for the first two and half minutes. Sofia Fidelus finally stopped the cold streak for the Golden Eagles with a three-point basket. Imani Felix scored with 16 seconds left in the second to cut LA's lead down to 27-26 and a huge block by Alvarado on the other end closed out the quarter.
With both teams shooting at similar rates in the third quarter, free chances at the line was the difference maker for LA as they went 9-for-12. Down by seven to open the fourth, a 9-2 run tied things up at 50-50. Alvarado's three point basket with 3:06 left gave the Gators a 57-56 lead. Up 59-58 with 2:13 to go, both teams couldn't score a basket. Leading by one with 13 seconds left, a jump ball on a rebound gave possession back to LA. Nevaeh Asasi scored to give LA the lead with six seconds left and Alvarado's shot was blocked on the other end to end the game.
