LOS ANGELES -  The San Francisco State women's track and field team took its further trip of the season to race in the Occidental Spring Break Classic.

Daisy Salinas had a huge PR to win the 3000m Steeplechase with a time of 11:04.65. Her time ranks second best in school history and is nearly 15 seconds faster than her previous personal best. Sabrina Carle-Parra had a PR in the high jump to place second with a mark of 1.57m.

Essence Jackson won the Triple Jump for a second time this season with a mark of 11.37m, .05 off from her personal best.
