SB | Six Gators Named to 2025 All-CCAA Softball Teams

SAN FRANCISCO — Six San Francisco State softball players have been named to the All-CCAA softball teams for the 2025 season the conference announced on Monday, April 28.

The Gators middle infielders Kai DeLeon and Rylee McDaniel were named to the First Team. Catcher Marley Gonzales and designated player Marissa Jordan were named to the Second Team. Outfielder Daniella Guerrera and pitcher Mari Takeda Bajan garnered Honorable Mention.

DeLeon earns All-CCAA honors for the fourth time, having been named to the Second Team the previous three seasons. She has had a hand in turning half of the Gators' 30 double plays, which are fifth most in double plays turned in all of NCAA Division II. The Turlock is batting a team-best .407, third highest in the CCAA, and leads the CCAA with 16 doubles and is second with 70 hits. She currently sits in second all-time in program history with 528 assists, is fourth all-time in hits and is just one of five Gators to ever reach 200 hits, is fifth in stolen bases and runs, seventh in walks, and eighth in doubles.

Similarly, McDaniel has had a hand in turning half of the Gators' 30 double plays. She has 47 career hits and is 10th all-time in program history with 12 home runs. This season, she leads the team with 10 home runs, a 1.119 OPS and .681 slugging, second highest in the CCAA. Additionally, McDaniel ranks 20th in Division II in hit by pitches.

Gonzales is batting .351 and has appeared in 52 games, including 46 behind the plate. She leads the team with 29 steals, second most in the CCAA. She is tied for fourth in career stolen bases, tied for ninth in career doubles, 11th in career triples, and tied for 12th in runs scored.

Jordan has had a breakout season with a .305 batting average. She's driven in 18 runs, scored 10 runs, and belted three home runs.

Guerrera recently joined the 100-RBI club and is fifth all-time in program history with 102, and just one of six Gators to reach the career milestone. The Folsom, California native is batting .292 with 38 RBI and a pair of home runs. Additionally, she is eighth in walks, tied for 11th in career home runs, and tied for 15th in career doubles.

Takeda Bajan is tied for third-most wins in the CCAA with 16. She has pitched 144.1 innings with 15 complete games in 25 starts.
