SAN FRANCISCO - The women's San Francisco State track and field team concluded a busy week of competition. The multi athletes competed in the heptathlon for the first time this season at the Brutus Hamilton Multi-event. A few athletes competed at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational the following day. The rest of the squad stayed home for the Mike Fanelli track invitational.
Talynn Schroeder had a strong showing in the heptathlon, recording 3914 points and the seventh best mark in program history.
Daisy Salinas had a big pr in the steeplechase to finish with an NCAA provisional time of 10:55.33 and place fifth in the event.
Sabrina Carle-Parra had a pr of 1.62m in the high jump to tie the ninth best mark in school history. She also placed third in the event. Alexis Wachoski matched her personal best mark in the pole vault with a 3.35m mark.
On the final day of competition at Mike Fanelli,
Daisy Salinas was honored as the first ever Mike Fanelli women's scholarship recipient.

The Gators will have the week off before hosting the Johnny Mathis Invitational on April 18-19. A handful of athletes will also make the trip down to Socal for the Bryan Clay Invite.
