TURLOCK, Calif - The women's San Francisco State track and field team competed in day two of the CCAA Championship.
The Heptathlon wrapped up with
Talynn Schroeder cracking over 4000 points with a final score of 4117, sixth-best in program history. Her and her fellow multi-athlete,
Yanise Harris, were part of a group of four Gators that placed in the top eight in the 100m hurdle prelims to advance to finals tomorrow.
Katy O'Brien and
Lydia Binger both will race in finals tomorrow.
The
Daisy Salinas strong senior season was rewarded with a second-place finish in the 3000m Steeplechase to earn All-CCAA honors. She finished with a time of 11:12.02.
Essence Jackson placed seventh in the triple jump with a mark of 11.55m, good for ninth best in program history.
