Michael Cunningham was named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers of America Division II All-American Team. The every day centerfielder earned Honorable Mention and gave the Gators an All-American in back-to-back seasons for the first time since the 1962 and 1961 season. Cunningham's teammate
Justin Johnson earned D2CCA Third Team All-American Honors in 2024.
The redshirt-junior earned a slew of postseason recognition for a strong 2025 season. He was named All-CCAA First Team, a unanimous West Region First Team NCBWA selection and a D2CCA West Region First Team selection. Cunningham also earned a spot on the All-CCAA All-tournament Team where the Gators finished runner's up for a second straight season.
Michael Cunningham had 18 home runs en route to breaking the all-time home run record with 27 career homers. He also broke the single season runs record with 65. Cunningham slashed .336/.432/.642, was third on the team with 78 hits and also had 15 doubles. Cunningham also lead the Gators with 20 stolen bases. Thanks to a big 2025 season, Cunningham also ranks fifth in program history in RBIs (99) and ninth in runs (104).
