ARCATA, Calif. - The San Francisco State women's cross country team kicked off the season at the Jim Hunt Humboldt Invitational. The Gators finished third out of four teams with 62 points, only four points behind second place Southern Oregon.
Julia Pioroda had a big opening race for the Gators, finishing seventh with a time of 23:46.88. FreshmanÂ
Priscilla Navarro joined Pioroda in the top ten and crossed the finish line with a time of 23:54.97 to place 10th.

Anika Pettinger andÂ
Angeli King finished right behind her. The Gators finished with a spread of 32 seconds between their top five runners.
